This space began with dark wood tones, burgundy and traditional furniture. I revamped the color tones of this space with soft light grey and light blues to brighten the room.  I created warmth with a cut wool rug and updated the furniture with clean modern lines.  The alcove where the sofa sits caused a difficult area to house drapery, stylistically,  so I opted for plantation shutters instead. This was a casual, functional and aesthetically pleasing option for the client. Lastly, a touch of vintage mirror and faux plants finish off the space.

The adjoining dining room commands attention with patterned wallpaper.  With a modern glass blown light fixture, walnut cabinetry and a custom quartz dining table, this dining room is ready for entertaining.
